WHAT I DO

I build paradigms. I work on complex ideas and make up words for them. It is the only way.  (Without new words, it is almost impossible to think new thoughts-- we just go around in circles.)

Here are some ideas I have worked on.  I have omitted those for which there are presently no Web pages.

Personal computing (a new idea in the 1960s, when I started-- now familiar, though still done all wrong).

Hypertext (a new idea in the 1960s, when I started); now familiar, though still done all wrong).

Parallel hypertext, a fundamental idea of hypertext that fits no one else's paradigm; at last available as the CosmicBook(tm) parallel text reader.

The Xanadu model (still a new idea to most people), for doing parallel hypertext with non-breaking two-way links, version management, controversy management, annotation and copyright management. in one clean and simple structure.  Most people still don't get it.

Software built on cross-connected lists in multiple dimensions (ZigZag® Software).

There is far too much to say, and far too little time to say it.
